Privacy Policy
Arrowlab Puzzle Max (“the game”) is a single-player puzzle game for Android, published by Arrowlab (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. In short: there is no account, no sign-in, and we run no servers that receive your data. The only information that leaves your phone is what Google collects to show ads and process a purchase, described below.
1. Information stored on your device
To let you pick up where you left off, the game saves the following on your phone only:
- your current and highest level, hearts and tool counts (Hint, Remove, Undo, Revive);
- challenge progress;
- your settings (sound, vibration, dark mode, language) and whether you removed ads.
We never receive this data. If you use Android’s backup feature, Android may back it up to your Google account so it can be restored on a new phone; that is handled by Google under your device settings. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes it.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: banner ads on the home and level screens, ads between levels, and optional ads you can watch to earn a tool or a revive. To show them, Google and its partners may collect and use:
- your advertising ID and similar device identifiers;
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, operating system, app version) and how you interact with ads.
This information is collected by Google, not by us, under Google’s Privacy Policy and as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience.
Your choices.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some other regions, the game asks for your consent before ads are personalised, using Google’s consent form. You can change your answer later where the game or your device offers that option.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
- You can remove all ads permanently with the in-app purchase described next.
3. In-app purchase
The game offers one optional one-time purchase, Remove ads. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details; Google tells the game only whether the purchase succeeded or was restored. Google’s handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
4. What we do not do
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name or email address through the game.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services in the game.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or precise location.
- We do not sell your personal information.
5. Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet / network state | To load ads and talk to Google Play for the purchase. |
| Vibration | Haptic feedback when you play (can be turned off in Settings). |
| Advertising ID | Used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. |
6. Children
The game is intended for people aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will help get it removed from our side.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because we do not receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server. Data on your phone is removed when you uninstall the game or clear its storage. To manage data held by Google, visit your Google Account.
8. Changes to this policy
If the game’s practices change — for example, if we add a new service — we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
